Background

It is hard these days to travel more than a few kilometers without seeing the world famous golden arches.
The Northbridge restaurant is a brand new building on the corner of Beaufort and Parry streets.
The high external fascias and facades work in well with the surrounding businesses.
ASF has been involved in the majority of the company and franchisee owned restaurants décor fit-outs since McDonalds established here in WA.

Objectives

To carry out the manufacture and installation of the latest style joinery and décor throughout the restaurant, terrace and back of house.
Manufacture and install to the highest quality standard possible and handover to our client on time.

Challenges

Planning ASF's installation, to work in with a multitude of Builders construction trades, to ensure an efficient process with a quality outcome.
To ensure the Builders wall finishes flow into ASF wall décor finishes, requiring a strong communication line between the builder, their trades and the ASF Project Manager.
Completing the decor installation within the short timeframe allowed and to coincide with the builders handover date.

Outcomes

The overall outcome was a new and stylish fit-out using a combination of polished timber, laminates, stone and graphic prints, handed over on time.
The two timber bulkheads above the McCafe and dining areas are a great feature from design, manufacture and installation aspects.
Northbridge is the first brand new inner metro area restaurant in several years.
Our client is pleased and ASF looks forward to continuing the business relationship.
